TRUST ME ITS YOU I LOVE
Written at 17 years old
I don't understand why you don't trust me
If i were a mannequin you'd pull strings
Just to see if i will say anything
Install batteries to see what i say
I'm a display doll and you search for clues
I'm a toy and you search for fingerprints
You only see the negativity
Failing to see the innocence beyond
A doll only brings joy to little girls
Mannequins cut the price of modeling
Its the clothes that draw all the attention
I can't help it if others stare at me
I design my own religious clothing
You should know that i am not unfaithful
You check my phone, my pockets and my bag
You never give up trying to find proof
You'll keep at it for the rest of my life
Study media so talk to many
Be they M or F why does it matter
My intention and my heart are both pure
"Would you do an interview?" "No thank you"
"Excuse me can i film you" "yes please"
I explained before we Wed you agreed
I'm always the bad seed in all of this
Even as a mannequin you don't trust
