Stop Slandering
Speak not against one another,
Treat him as a Christian brother;
Those who slander while they judge,
Normally are holding a grudge.
If you judge other believers,
Then you listen to deceivers;
If you believe what the lies wrought,
Then you are judging what God taught.
So you would no longer follow them,
Your actions God would then condemn;
You would be corrupted with sin,
And no longer to be His kin.
God is able to kill or save,
Take you to Heaven or stay in grave;
For the Lord is judge and jury,
And does not commit perjury.
So pay attention what I say,
You just better trust and obey;
And do not brag what you will do,
Or you might find it not come true.
You do not know of tomorrow,
It may bring heartache and sorrow;
To some as the future draws near,
Could actually be full of fear.
For what is life as time moves on,
One moment here and the next gone;
And if the Lord wants us to live,
Then it is His will for to forgive.
