 Cambio
Photobucket

A new year came but what of us
Beliefs still hang just short of trust
The episodes that seem reruns
In life absorbed some not much fun

We keep to things that don't give back
Knowledge ours but still the facts
Are faint at heart and too our eyes
Become the things that hold to lies

A simple fix to bring the change
A place beyond what we estrange
A feel unlike, a passion for
A new beginning on old we wore

Close the windows to your soul
Hold your breath and know who holds
The good in you close to his heart
The better you that is His part

Like child you are thinking knows best
Short change yourself and much more less
Who failed to live and too the tests
Of things this day life's waves that crest

Come now know what you kept stored
Inside of you for years ignored
The better part you could call me
The Salt, The Light of Earth GOD sees

Cambio, Change
