Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Oops I broke a promise
I made many promises, only
To turn around and break them all
Like brittle bones falling down
A flight of stairs.
They were stale once they left my lips
And fell to the ground, shattering
Like fragile glass.
I've learned to watch my words,
Lest they should trip, tumble
And maim countless feelings that I
Had no intention of ruining.

To turn around and break them all
Like brittle bones falling down
A flight of stairs.
They were stale once they left my lips
And fell to the ground, shattering
Like fragile glass.
I've learned to watch my words,
Lest they should trip, tumble
And maim countless feelings that I
Had no intention of ruining.
