Beyond the windows of train that she rode
She saw familiar panoramas, still the same and old
Fascinating scents of nature signified that she's near
To cradle of innocence, her home town so dear
A cold ,isolated surrounding welcomed her on that town's station
She walked..crossed the snowy road of a village toward her destination
Her footsteps halted a while in front of their old house
With tattered doors, stripped windows, rusted roofs full of holes
She still remember that last grim winter..when war ruined that village
Snatched away too many lives, dreams, hope and courage
Nothing left but scenes of destruction..a mourning silence of woe
Breathing dungeon of memories..debris of an emblem crumbled chateau
Her feet brought her exhausted heart on a somber narrow hill
There, she felt a warm embrace that let her tears to spill
A moment where she forgot how to be strong, how to be brave
Upon seeing her mother's longing lonesome grave
The icy wind blew..while the day started to fold
Falling snow drops effaced her sorrow and weariness
Sunset brought back the forgotten memories of gold
Precious days of her innocence..full of joy and gladness
A heart that savored both tears of joy and sorrow
Gently stepped away from the place that deprived of tomorrow
Hoping that someday, love and respect..in human's heart may perceive
For a peaceful..better world to live
