We are so relieved when the time has come,
And that important thing we think about it, has been done,
Nobody really likes to wait for someone, or anything,
We may be glad or sad, but at least we know, that it is done.
When we wait for something, we may sit restlessly at home, it's true,
We are uptight, waiting to hear from someone, anything,
We wait for that phone call, that never seems to come through,
We get stressed out and mad, and time is so hard to bear...
But sometimes, we have to wait for so many things I fear,
We all have to wait, for either good news or bad news,
God Himself, waits for us, all the time so patiently too,
We can't have everything we want all the time, and that's true.
There's a time for everything, and of that, you know I'm so sure,
Sometimes we all have to wait and learn to tolerate any view.
