Your Blissful Soul - *A HYMN TO GREAT LORD VISHNU *

To whom the early prayer of the rising Sun offered,

By whose greatness the Heaven and Earth established,

By whose power and statute the Sun and Heaven shine,

In whose control all this world exists and breathes

He is Vishnu, the strongest and the most heroic God!

I will declare the mighty deeds of Vishnu,

Who measured out all regions of the Earth and Heaven

By setting down His footsteps thrice, widely striding

He transcended the universe and the space beyond

In all dimensions, making the whole creation

A grain of dust under His feet!

Vishnu makes the achievements with great vigor!

He is like a lion of the wild, prowling and roaming,

He is the secret power that exists even in an atom.

May He approach us from the farthest distance!

May Vishnu be gracious,and merciful towards us!

Vishnu is the Almighty Lord,

In whose three wide-extended paces

All worlds and creatures have their habitation:

Vishnu strode through all the worlds

And all the worlds gathered

As grains of dust under His feet!

Vishnu is the Supreme Soul and the Eternal Truth,

None can deceive Him and none can transgress Him.

He is the guardian of eternal laws and holy ways,

He is the friend of Indra, the Lord of the Heaven!

The seers evermore behold that loftiest place

Where Vishnu is, through the eye of the Heaven!

Either from Heaven or from earth, O Vishnu,

Or from the far-spreading space, O Vishnu,

Fill both Thy hands full of heavenly treasures,

And from the right and left

Bestow freely upon us!
