You are a good servant of Christ,
All of which that you sacrificed;
Preaching to sisters and brothers,
With how to show love to others.
For you are nourished by the Word,
Storing in heart all you have heard;
The Christian faith what you have taught,
Is just what Jesus Christ has bought.
I know we work hard and struggle,
In living and still have trouble;
Even though we may feel so glum,
Think of the life that is to come.
For we place confidence in God,
Giving Him the honor and laud;
He is Savior of the people,
As is written in the Gospel.
So teach the ones that do believe,
All of which that they will receive;
And make your speech and behavior,
Exactly match our Savior.
Please concentrate on your reading,
And with the Lord you are needing;
Never try to neglect your gift,
Helping others so they uplift.
Devote your life to practice it,
God will favor on your merit;
So that everyone can see,
How a Christian should always be.
