M.I.S.T.A.K.E.

I guess I'm letting it out, the pain in my heart,
It's about time I did, and at least make a start!
But oh woe is me, it's 2 months later on,
My pain is 100 fold worse, oh what have they done?!

I know it was a mistake, and I don't blame him,
And the ones who tell me it's wrong and sue him!
I wouldn't do that, that man's in pain enough!
It isn't nice when things go wrong, it's just tough!

...Tough on him anyway, cos he cares a great deal!
Loves his job – and he's down to earth, just real!
Not like some who are ‘legends in their own mind!'
My Doc isn't like that, he's normal, and kind!

He goes to work in his shorts, I laugh at him!
I say; ‘you're supposed to be professional!' I can't win!
He wears his trainer shoes too! He's a show!!
Oh yes, he does, but that's the great doc I know!

But for those 5 weeks flat on my back in bed,
Not able to move, or try and lift my head!
Not once did he laugh or joke or jest...
I guess my Doc's not feeling his best...

And that's so sad, cos it was just a mistake!!
Many say no to that – for goodness sake!

We ALL make mistakes.
Some don't let it bother them...
Others, it cuts up-
My poor doc, yeah, its cut him up.
