I have known Thee, O mighty being,
Refulgent as Sun beyond darkness!
By knowing Thee alone, one transcends death
And there is no other way to go!
Thou art the essence and supporter of all,
The unimaginable Supreme Lord and Absolute!
Thou art the water,the air and brilliant fire,
And the Sun, Moon and Thou art Cosmic lawmaker.
Thou art Siva, Vishnu and the changeless Brahman.
Thou art the Grand sire and the Lord of the Creation.
Thou art Indra, the lord of cosmic mind and Vishnu,
The Sustainer of all who tends us with wisdom, and
The lord of oceans, whose laws are steadfast.
Thou art Mitra, the Sun, a friend of all,
Aryaman, the lord of heroes enriching all
Thou the God art the Mother of universe too.
Thou art the Earth and Aditi, the space infinite.
Thou art hundred-wintered Ila, the nourishment,and
Saraswati, the goddess of divine wisdom, glorified
By hymns for obtaining power and long life.
Thou art a woman and thou art a man.
Thou art a boy, a maiden, and an old man tottering.
Thou art Aswins, the gods of light in twilights.
O Lord of light, O Lord of Blissful Consciousness!
Fill me with the honey of immortality, so that
I can speak sweet words of Thy glory
To the masses of mankind!
