Angel In the Garden

One day, an angel sat by our little garden
He started playing his song, so I stopped by and listened;
"Do not fear nor be shaken...
God loves you so much, a tiding of joy from heaven."

I smiled back at him, "I know but I seem to forget,
When trials come along, I easily look down and fret";
Now, I realize that I am loved
In the midst of the storm, I shall trust my God.

The angel didn't depart but a statue he became,
Holy, Holy is God's Name;
God is always faithful and just,
His words are true and meant to last.
