Outside the Box
Safe from heresy,
protected from the Charlatans.
Comfort supersedes mission;
love bound within.
Cloistered into this darkness;
fed from dogma,
fed from one plate.
I cannot hear
God's call to me.
Expanding the possibilities…
knocking down the limitations;
kicking down the door;
secluded instruction ended.
Stepping out into the sun;
feeling the warmth,
feeling he breeze.
Nature communicates
God's love to me.
Outside the box
opportunities abound.
Look around at the hungry,
see the naked.
Profound sadness breaks
the heart.
A tear falls.
The world needs
God's love in action.
