In Strength Not Yours
Invisible to eyes that fail to see
This day that came to let us be
By power His not of your strength
Simply put, fear not, don't faint
The will of GOD has never weared
Of burdens yours for hands His paired
Upon the cross, He conquered death
Born was CHRIST to do no less
He charts the storms that come our way
Captain's the ship though fall away
Children that fear that He's not there
As trust becomes lost in heart bared
Yet in the spells we fall to prey
The word becomes what we should pray
For Thanks, for Life, for Love not fading
For Faithfulness, all His unfailing
We keep to things we need not hold
Simple these truths for eons told
A never changing promise His
Forever is what we could miss
Heed not to man who misleads you
As shortcuts cut into breakthroughs
Yours this day if you just asked
For strength but His, not yours still tasked
