The Good Old USA
To Simon-Lee my grandson who is 21 years old today. Happy birthday son love always Nannie xxx
Married to a bonnie lass
Across the wide blue sea
My grandson`s twenty-one today,
His name is Simon-Lee
Can`t believe how time has flown
Lord its gone so fast
If only we had really known
We would have made it last
Simon`s such a handsome lad
Who used to look like mum
Now he looks just like his dad
You know this daddy's` son.
I remember chats we had
And I knew that one day
You would travel bonnie lad
To the good old USA
I hope you`re happy over there
I hope your love is deep
For you I say a little prayer
This special love to keep
Have a lovely day today
May all your dreams come true
Have fun and don`t forget to play
Whatever you may do
