Hearts of His Matter
Formed to beat with purpose one
One as His, paid by His Son
Yet in the scheme of things this day
You choose to live not know The Way
Hairline cracks will give today
As life's ocean will bring it's waves
Destruction of another heart
Demise by choice, souls playing part
The hurt is felt beyond caverns
Inside of you for He too has them
For child are you, heart of His matter
Hearts many that fail to gather
Gather round the answer to
The best of Him inside of you
The better part He loves anew
Each day still calls for children lost
As parents fear, His price the cost
Was paid to part what consumes you
Again for love, blessed and true
Wake and see what is ahead
A place for you when life meets death
For in the end there is but reason
To hold whats His closer for seasons
