It's better to turn around;
As I smeared the holy ashes
Of the sandal wood pieces
Of my words upon my body,
For so long, after burning
Them in the fire of consciousness,
And smeared the dust of the earth
Upon my breast for so long-
I could go now, but why must I.
~*~
I stand on the bank of a lotus lake
At night time, I hear the moon calling:
Come over darling, come over to me,
I will bathe you with my nectar
And cool you down with my embrace!-
I could go now, but why must I.
~*~
I stand in a beautiful garden
At noon time, I hear the Sun calling:
Come over darling, come over to me,
This is your home, here is your Queen,
You can't stay on earth for so long!-
I could go now, but why must I.
~*~
I stand near a burning ground
At evening, the logs of a funeral pyre
beacon: come over master,
Your soul is a flame of fire
You can merge in the flames for ever!-
I could go now, but why must I.
~*~
In my strong arms
I must hold this Mother earth,
As the taste of her herb and honey
Still lingers upon my tongue;
This mother of beauty always
Feeds me with nectar of poetry!
~*~
Yes, I'd leave, though, not just now,
Not at this inconvenient hour-
Just my self when I go, I will take
All your sweet and loving memories
With me as my happy treasures!
