It is an awful morning I would say,
And I'm not feeling well at all today.
Last night I went to bed a little late,
After I have done many things all day.
I've read a few pages so glad to say
I tried to keep my eyes open as I read,
But after midnight that was hard to do.
My eyes refused to open as I pray'd,
Not even all that coffee kept me awake,
Since my sleepy head didn't come to my aid,
Angrily I had to put my book 'way,
Till next day when I have more time ahead,
I was so tired as felt for many days,
And today I'm not better off I'd say.
