When a sweet beauty
Swaying like a creeper
Smiling like a fragrant rose
Comes close to embrace,
I feel joy, though I yearn
To become a butterfly
To drink her fragrance
From the flower cup, yet
Passion does not burn my lips
As I am a prisoner of pitiless life!

Only the sight of full moon
Through my window is enough
To me to stay on the steps of
Clouds to weave all my dreams!
~*~
When a Goddess of beauty
In a dream appears like a creeper
Of lightning to embrace my soul
I yearn to entwine with her soul;
I yearn to become a milky way,
A luminous lake, where stars
Are shining as blooming lotuses
There, I'd bathe her as a playmate
In the waters of my delight!

Knowing well, these my yearnings
Are in vain, yet, I long to dream
With all my yearnings!
