 Alien

Deep within the dark pulsating center of its being,
Tentacles were writhing from passion of purest fire;
Ocular sensors directing everything it was seeing
Through infrared, feeding in all data it would require
For seeking out among the mammals a meal of its desire...

Caustic whorls amid torrents of venom, swirling death,
Expectorated into the air in currents of seething steam.
Circulating internal vats of white hot fetid breath;
Visage engendering many a hushed or silent scream;
Neither vile nor vicious, merely voracious in extreme...

Olfactory system super sensitive slowly tests the air
For sight or smell of any possibly edible living thing.
All who look upon the creature stand frozen in despair.
It's beyond their ability to believe what they are seeing;
This offspring of some hellatious other world being...

Rows of serrated teeth reminiscent of a killer shark;
Bone crunching power resides in its saliva dripping jaws.
It will venture forth in daylight but prefers the dark;
An eating machine following the worst of nature's laws;
To kill and eat and grow, for it has no other cause....
