Purpose of Law
Stop teaching false doctrine,
Occupied with just lies;
Your words are full of sin,
That Satan does disguise.
My goal in giving you,
This order for to love;
A pure heart to flow through,
From true faith up above.
Some people left behind,
Qualities of this goal;
As rudeness peeves the mind,
Keeping Christ from the soul.
So you turned discussions,
Into useless gossip;
Without repercussions,
Flowing out from your lip.
We know what Moses taught,
Is good if they are used;
But if you adhere not,
Cause them to be abused.
You interpret the way,
Not helping the sinners;
As they will further stray,
And never be winners.
Laws are for those with sin,
That takes an oath to lie;
Having no discipline,
And be forced to comply.
