Up ahead in the distance there
i can almost touch upon,
but it's just a memory i bear
for this ground he no longer walks on.
One day soon i hope to take that flight
and a happy bluebird i'll be,
into that rainbow of light
that is inviting me.
The clouds will open up for us 2be2gether
as we just sit and kiss,
the heavens above vow that it will be 4ever
sharing in such bliss.
Till Then darkness will shine
even in the day,
for beauty is no longer mine
cause cruel time took it away.
I'm so little so frail so weak
i can't make it on my own,
his soft touch is all i seek
this earth no more my home.
Please Soon let my path bask in the glow
that time took the golden years,
it's the only place that i can go
to be taken away from all my fears.
On that path i'll be myself again
i'll no longer have a tarnished heart of gold,
i merely exist right now it's such imitation
without my greatest treasure to hold!
