 ~I Spoke To The Lord~

I Had a talk with the Lord today
Softly I called to Him as I awoke
A warm feeling crept all over me
He drew nearer to me.....
          as I spoke

I leaned on His knee to ask Him why
He allowed the devil to rob my joy
Crippled am I in my wheelchair old
satan played with my life........
          like a toy

Jesus told me of about a special job
Which is mine from the day of my birth
It's not a regular job from nine to five
The Lord needs me to be a prayer warrior
          on earth

My disabilities are blessings in disguise
Now there's no reason for me to ask why
I can't speak and walk as once before
But there isn't any reason for me.........
          to cry

I know I have heard the call of the Lord
There was a purpose for the stroke I had
I serve my Lord Jesus in the best way I can
By praying for others who may............
         feel sad

Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that all things
work together for good for those who love God,
those who are called according to His purpose."
