Soaring High
Serene, calm, and peaceful as she looks straight ahead
Swinging in the breeze so free
Feeling light as a feather
Free flowing attire
Hair adorned with fresh flowers
Breathing easily
Soaring high above silvery, soft, fluffy, pillow clouds
Free as a bird flying high
She has earned her wings once broken
No looking back to years of confinement
Years of imprisonment, low self-esteem, feeling trapped
She has escaped
Nothing or no one can hold her back
Free as a bird
Spreading and flapping her strong wings
As she soars beyond wondrous blue skies
Free
Free to be
