Growth in Grace
The Lord has rescued me,
From the power of darkness;
My eyes opened to see,
Sins I had to confess.
God brought me to the place,
The kingdom of His Son;
Showing mercy and grace,
For salvation was won.
His Son had paid the price,
Freeing me from the sin;
That constantly entice,
And corrupts me within.
My sins are forgiven,
Trying to take control;
Leading me from Heaven,
So Satin takes my soul.
But Christ will not allow,
In having such a thing;
Remembering my vow,
Why to the cross I cling.
Jesus is the image,
The invisible God;
To whom we pay homage,
As we honor and laud.
He created all things,
In Heaven and on earth;
With salvation He brings,
A chance for a rebirth.
