Our 1st valentines day he gave me Joe Bear
that he named with tender loving care,
he said Dear come meet Joe Bear now
waiting here to see that smile.
He brought me this record 1 day
and he proudly would say say say,
turn it over and play the other side
i listened as he beamed with pride.
How fitting that the precious man....
that started the collection trend
would present me w/a song for many a furry friend,
in fact 2010 our last christmas together
he gave me a friend to comfort me and treasure 4ever.
He was so cute all rolled up in a little ball
charmed by a man that stood 6' tall,
he brought out my youth inside
now i'm so old my youth has died.
But while he was here he always made me feel young
i wanna play again on the moon he hung,
he was presenting me w/a little trinket all the time
that started w/my 1st valentine
(and ended with christmas the biggest heartache of mine)
