Another Rainy Day
As the rain begins to fall
it finds a way to reach us all.
How I love downpours of showers
watching a storm for hours and hours.
Oh- to splash in puddles as a child
or delight in the drizzle
when the rain became mild.
And today I enjoy it all the same
whether it be mild or tame
as it drenches the grass
or christens a tree
while it falls quietly at times
and unexpectedly.
So when clouds gather close
turning heavy and gray
I smile at the blessings
of another rainy day.
