 POETICAL ME

Where Arrows Fall

In land where love has taken hits
Where broken breathes and seeks a fix
An arrow falls to make anew
A heart broken that somehow knew

This day prayed for, a soul mate sought
A perfect day their cries have brought
End to things where roses die
Beginnings fresh with their last sigh

Hope became a friend through times
Alone they felt as last goodbye
Bid them well damage control
Repairs near end of them now hold

Holding to the lessons learned
Bridges broken some had to burn
As nothing good becomes of structures
Except the will and strength to muster

This Valentines, cupid will come
With arrow his not be undone
By romance failed thought once forever
Is seeded new by arrow severed

That joy once felt again returns
Fulfilling dreams as they discern
Promise for keeps
In heart broken denied of sleep

Where arrows fall, may they find home
Upon a soul once wronged alone
To know of love not felt before
To pick the lock of their hearts door

Where Arrows Fall
