REMEMBERING MY VALENTINE

~^~REMEMBERING MY VALENTINE~^~

He served me love with my morning coffee…
Left hugs with me when he was leaving home.
Halfway through the day he'd call just to say he missed me
Then blow me kisses through the telephone.

He searched through greeting cards for sometimes hours
To find one he felt sure would touch my heart.
He was every inch a man yet so boyishly devoted
I submitted to his spell right from the start.

He made Valentine a day to be remembered…
Not only with his gifts but with his love.
So as this day approaches my poetic heart's responding
With feelings only he could be part of.

So, darling, if you're reading this… I love you
I'm so grateful that the Good Lord made you mine.
Before Him and all the angels and every person in this world
I announce that you are still my Valentine!

Every time I think of you a rainbow paints my sky...
God blessed me with a very special guy.

Lovingly Presented,
Doris Jacobs-Covington
