A Cut Above
Young at heart also of age
Another year of him you page
Where miss becomes an understatement
Of son you lost, on heart yours painted
His time too short to be called home
Today seems more of more alone
Distraught, depressed at times have sown
Seeds that yield nothing I own
Know this dear child I keep all things
Dear to heart, brief offerings
Yours once had to have again
It is my will no man can bend
In death becomes what I would give
A chance to rise all I forgive
Where son like yours I dearly love
Becomes my own this too know of
He has become what I foresaw
A better man that Heaven calls
A cut above, Barber to one
You call Father, Jesus God's son
To Ellie, my sister in CHRIST
Behold, He makes all things new
A Cut Above
