O Mother Kalika!
You are the most beautiful goddess,
Ever fresh as the clusters of rain bearing clouds!
You are the wielder of divine Word as the blazing sword
Wearing the Alphabet as a garland of skulls in Your neck
Appearing with lotus like hands for protecting the universe
You have the most beautiful eyes, wide and elongated
Like the petals of lotuses with compassionate glances!
You are always intent upon protecting Your devotees
From dangers and miseries of the worldly existence!

O Mother of Eternal Time!
You are the essence of the universe!
You're adorned with the disk of Sun as a vermilion mark
On Your fore head, and Your disheveled hair is embellished
With myriads of stars and the galaxies as wreathed flowers
And You have a digit of moon as Your crest ornament.
You are capable of creating tremendous cosmic fires
At the time of final dissolution to destroy Your Creation
And You are capable of creating all, with a blissful smile!

You are the Great Empress of the Heaven,
You are the benevolent ruler of the universe
Your splendor is beyond all human imagination
The milk of compassion that springs from Your breasts
Is an endless flow of the nectar of blissful consciousness
It is the nectar fall with floods of splendorous lights!
As Your blessed son who drank nectar from Your breasts,
Let me shine as the Sun, O Divine Mother,
With Heavenly splendor!
