 Ms. Crabtree
Days of old when young were we
Of love, of her of Ms. Crabtree
That held much more than my attention
That searched for ways to get detention

An A student not in the cards
A  Bee more us that found it hard
To leave school with heart abuzz
In mind I Knight pretend I was

Her princess, single alone
Me her cause was mine to own
If I could say what heart would pound
Beneath my chest I'd gain some ground

But just like tales that have an end
I'd lose in time this girl to friend
Foe more mine these days I'd say
As sweep he would off feet away

He was more Knight than I could be
Birthed well before my eyes would see
For gallant was what we were not
Sire, a prince that stole her heart

Time would end for childhood thoughts
A time where place once meant and brought
This feeling that would stir much more
More than we stood, three feet from floor

But none the less this child still keeps
Her in dreams where there she leaps
Into arms of one who loved
A bit too soon falling in love

To the Chubsy Ubsy's of the world, hold to your dream girl
or at least that chocolate heart.. Happy Valentines to all!
