Revelations from the Lord
I must brag but it is no good,
Boastful of the Lord as I could;
But never let it be ignored,
The revelations from the Lord.
For I have seen a paradise,
That is filled with sugar and spice;
Such a sight that I must confess,
A blessing that makes me speechless.
I am aware that I am weak,
And it is the Lord that I seek;
In taking me to such a place,
Because of His mercy and grace.
I would not want to be the fool,
That does not follow any rule;
That God Himself has given man,
To follow in His master plan.
But Satan has tormented me,
Darkness blinds so I cannot see;
I begged the Lord to take away,
Temptations that would make me stray.
But my kindness is all I need,
Remembering Christ who did bleed;
And strengthen me when I am weak,
So the future will not look bleak.
So I am bragging more about,
The power that weakens my doubt;
As I accept weakness I face,
While my Savior shines His grace.
