A Godly Life
A godly life will bring good wealth,
Ample for your spiritual health;
Who are content what they possess,
God will ensure that He will bless.
We had nothing at our birth,
When we came to this planet earth;
And when we leave there is no doubt,
We will not take anything out.
Why should anyone ever brood,
When they have enough clothes and food;
And never let it be denied,
Each of us should be satisfied.
But people always look for more,
Easily tempted by a lure;
And they act as though they get sick,
If unable to get rich quick.
So they are lighting their fires,
By many harmful desires;
Which drowns them into destruction,
Flowing from greedy seduction.
The love of money is the root,
Of different evil bearing fruit;
That some people get their hearts set,
To see just how much they can get.
So they start to wander away,
As they begin to go astray;
Soon they lose their Christian belief,
Finding themselves a lot of grief.
