 once upon a time

Life stirs more and more each day in Muriel's garden
Green and bordered by brown  mulch covered flower beds.
Finches and red robins flitting about,
Her garden seems to exist just for her.
Though she knows it's nature's hard won winters toil.

Just for this morning she sits, calmed by the serenity of nature's wonders.
Sleepy head buds open into sparkling colour in the soft spring sunlight.
Need she wander further?
Why engage in conversation with her fellow man
She would sit there and  ponder that in her garden
She really has all she needs to sustain her soul.
