Unity and Brotherly Love
We have to live in harmony,
With compassion and sympathy;
Being humble to each other,
Fondly as sister and brother.
Two wrongs would never make a right,
Evil for evil is just spite;
You stray from the spiritual track,
When trying to pay people back.
Those that ridicule or insult,
Can make life very difficult;
If unable to tolerate,
It can make you very irate.
So do not attempt to condemn,
Pass along your blessings to them;
God will look upon you with grace,
As He gives you a sweet embrace.
Those who want to live a full life,
Expect to bear toils and strife;
But must keep their tongues from the words,
That are mostly heard by drunkards.
The eyes of the Lord will be yours,
To see what someone else ignores;
His ears will also hear your prayer,
To anyone willing to share.
Think of what can be sacrificed,
And dedicate your life to Christ;
Always be prepared to defend,
Those who want to harm and offend.
