You are the holder of a Brilliant
Vajra, which creates the lightnings;
O Durga,O brilliant Goddess of flames,
You're dwelling in the sphere of the Sun
You are surrounded by nectar drinking
Varninis, dakinis and fiery energies!
You are the Queen of the Heaven.
You are the competent Goddess,
Who destroys the demons of darkness!
You're the life giver, who creates food
For all those who live on the Earth!

O Goddess of Heaven who enjoys
The music of the Singing Stars;
You are imagined as fierce Chandica
The Goddess who severed Her own Head,
To quench the thirst of the Sun, Moon
And Heaven with streams of nectar
Flowing from Your own Body of light!
O Indrani,the Queen of Heaven!
You are the Creator of Sacrifice,
And the illuminer of the minds of men,
You are the Goddess of the Cosmos
Who bestows nectar from Your breasts!
