DO YOU REMEMBER

DO YOU REMEMBER

I sit in the swing tied to the old tree
Push me higher daddy I begged

I want to touch the sky
and feel the wind blowing hard against me

high and higher he did push
I was laughing with glee

 over the moon I did fly
I saw Hey Diddle  Diddle  the cat and the fiddle

The dish said he never
saw the spoon

Do you remember

Hey diddle diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon;
The little dog laughed to see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.
-A nursery rhyme from the 1700's
