WHERE LILIES BLOOM

WHERE LILIES BLOOM

Along the wall where lilies bloom
the air is fragrant with their sweet perfume

Shadows dance in a slow intimate sway
A portrait of themselves in darkest gray

Imbued from the sun shining bright
Without the light the shadows would take flight

Visitors applause the lilies only
Causing the shadows to feel alone and lonely

Any obstruction blocking direct light by a thing or being
causes the shadows we are seeing

As with all things in life
the shadows are there for a reason

They expose the beauty often unseen
A lesson from the shadow we can gleam

THE HOLY BIBLE
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I
will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they
comfort me.
Psalms 23:4
