I want to tell you all about a tale of long ago
I knew a sweet child who's would face often glow

When she saw an ugly fat frog sitting on a leaf
She laughed and caught it with her handkerchief

She loved to make up stories every single day
She thought that frogs could change in a magic way

She tried to catch frogs with slimy worms on a hook
Softly she crept beside them to take a closer look

Her older sister encouraged her, "never give up hope"
And always reminded her,"Wash them off with soap"

It was a surprise one day when a nice frog appeared
Her heart jumped in her throat and it was very clear

Her frog prince had appeared and she could not miss
The chance to bestow on him one solitary kiss

That kiss did the trick and I'm here to say
They will be wed in the coming month of May
