WHEN YOU FACE REJECTION
when you face deep rejection:
on all levels you come undone:
from rejection to neglection:
in your life you feel affection not none:
when you see a young couple in love walking hand in hand:
or an elderly couple hugging where they stand:
it warms your heart and you can see love in there eyes:
as they each look at one another you can see they are so proud of there prize:
when your left standing all alone and no affection to you from another is shown:
it simply chills you to the bone:
you feel lost alone and dead inside:
you feel a deep loss of pride:
you feel no self worth at all:
you feel yourself getting ready to fall:
nothing even matters no more:
when your heart is damaged and tore:
deep within you --you dig down and pray:
dear god help guide me through this day:
thy will not mine be done:
all battles given to christ are won:
so maybe god wants me to feel this pain:
god wants me to go through the rain:
even though this is not my choice:
i feel i have a lost voice:
i feel my life is turned upside down:
i feel deep sadness profound:
there is nothing left for me to do or say:
i can only humbly pray:
