 Springtime Passion
As Springtime opens it's budding flowers;
I think about the renewal of this season.
Bubbling up from a dormant secluded area
Of my heart comes the surge of freshness.
Returning into Nature's bosom, I hunger;
Reaching out, I suckle this spring nectar.
I emerge whole, renewed, prepared to love;
Embracing life with a Springtime passion.
Withdrawn too long in my closed up home;
I throw open the shutters, allowing in the sun.
I wash in the swollen stream by my home;
Bathing in the chilly waters, invigorated.
Dancing along the trails in the nearby forest;
Delighting in the bounty of this blessed life.
Stopping for a moment by my favorite old oak;
My heart overflowing with a springtime passion.
