an OLD cup of irish cheer ®
I don't write because i'm happy no way
i write because i'm lonely,
every single night and day
i pour my heart out for Faron to see.
To see that i
pay tribute and thank him,
for all he did on earth that guy
and Faron inspired me to write my very 1st poem.™
So if you want a happy poet
you need to go elsewhere,
because from where i sit
happy stuff Sally can no longer share.
Oh i talk of the beauty we had here
and all OUR happiness,
but every time i write i shed many a tear
because he's not here to give his proud kiss.
But i don't write funny poems anymore
to mix it all up,
and funny pictures went out the door
too much sadness flowing over my imagination cup.
But here's one Dear you'll remember
i can still hear you laughing,
and people sal did it NOT sally this treasure
to send you all an irish blessing.
