 once upon a time

Nod nod, nod.  That's all you ever see
When you ask do you know or do you agree..
Heads are nodding

They will agree because  they haven’t a clue,
They think you are an authority.
Then when you say well I don’t know they nod.

What is one to do? Seek wisdom from books.
The nodding heads cannot agree.
Only place left is a book though then I’m a nodding head,
Because I don’t know whether the author is an authority.

Where do I go from here? I know.
I'll pretend and nod that I do know.
Then I become an authority even if all I do is nod.
Nodding heads is great. You don’t have to know, just nod.
