Adikaran's Poetry

One cannot neither chase me away, from the human rights,
Nor turn me away from my thoughts of women’s rights,
We claim to dwell in the quiet room of our household,
We are standing aloof from the world’s harsh voices of all,
This is the time for us to gather and check for our rights.

I am asking you to move forward as brave women without any fear,
Put your trust in God and go with your strength and power,
Do not rest a day or night because your demands are right,
Let us unite together and ask for our rights.

I will empower all the women to ask for their rights,
Which are unjustifiably withdrawn from them?
People should encourage rather than condemn,
The working woman are not getting the equal pay,
Or the flexibility at their work places on child care.

When we pay the same amount of taxes to the government,
I feel that we should have the equal liberty and status from government.
If they are not allowing the same liberty and status,
I consider that as injustice and inequality.
