tender mercies as sweet as you please®
I died and went to heaven,
and 1 day soon i'll do it again.
I flew with an angel in the skies,
and i've seen the light in my lover's eyes....
Well some have said that love is blind
and what one feels is a state of mind,
well they've never
been in love have they?!
For true love is found in the heart
deep passion plays the lead part,
it's a warm and it's a sweet holiday.
I surely know that there's a God above
and thank him for my 1 and only love,
and from his kiss i drew
tender mercies along the way.
