TEARS ARE THE WORDS WE CANNOT EXPRESS
tears are the hidden words that we cannot express:
they mean so much more not less;
without even a single word being said:
you hear so much with a single tear being shed:
we try to hold the hurt and pain deep inside:
by not speaking to others and our feelings hide:
tears of hurt pain and shame run so so deep:
why do we hold the tears in and choose for the pain to keep--we gotta let it go and just weep:
the words that we do not know how to speak:
by holding it in will make us miserable and weak:
tears of hurt and shame will surface before long;
just because you are a man to cry its not wrong:
i know i keep this pain hidden deep inside:
i felt such a deep loss of pride:
i dont know what to do what to say or where to go:
really i felt so devastatingly low:
just day to day trying to do my best:
i feel so far from my best and so much less:
my self esteem is lower that low:
deep within me i feel no glow:
i know inside i hold a thousand tears that i have not yet cried:
within me i felt again for the third time that i have died:
my future is unknown and so cloudy at best:
right now i feel so numb and so much less:
but i continue to pray:
i say oh dear god please guide thy way:
