FRIENDSHIP




  
  




A FRIEND

One day in the garden 
A fairy I did see

A wreath of butterflies was in her hair
she smiled happily at me

She showed me her bag of gold
it was a great treasure I was told

My friendship she wanted to buy
No my love is free from me to thee

It is a gift we both can share
Over many years a true friend she became

Far from our garden
she never roamed
