Lord, discerning Your will is not always clear
Especially being unemployed for over a year
You continue to supply my needs day by day
Blessings too numerous to count along the way
Last Friday door opened for phone interview
Answered prayer in strength for my voice too
Same industry and very similar job description
Sent letter of thanks for time and consideration
Notified it would be 7-10 days before a decision
With other applicants to contact stated as reason
I sensed a bond throughout our conversation too
Next step would then be an in-person interview
This Wednesday a call I may never understand
But everything is a part of Your infinite plan
Prior temp position available again per agency
Interview before was cancelled due to surgery
Other temp person found full-time employment
Not fulfilling their obligation and commitment
Indicating my interest I explained my situation
By end of next week I would advise my decision
Lord, I took a risk when I asked the agency to wait
You have already helped me evaluate issues at stake
From temp or permanent with wide salary variances
To financially meet current and future circumstances
Grant me the courage to contact temp agency Monday
To schedule an interview as You guide me all the way
Whether company even wants me for full-time position
You are in control to close any door by Your direction
