ENOLA GAY

Was Manhattan worth
the shadow on the wall.
A project that destroyed
twin cities of dreams.

Why was an atomic weapon?
valued more than millions of lives.
All of eternity will with justification
Condemn America’s act of terrorism.

They have created generations of victims.
Torn buildings today remain mute monuments
to a depraved decision. Drop little boy and big boy.
The world will cower before or mighty wrath.

Today they still build obscene weaponry.
They have forgotten the Manhattan project.
Though all eternity will not forget such endearing
Names as little boy and big boy.

These names along with Enola gay denote
The worst act of terrorism the world has ever witnessed.
Even today in the twin cities of dreams the atrocity of
the decision to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki reverberate.
