NOT MANY TAKE THE TIME ANYMORE
Remember when we would not only read poems here
but we would also give new poets feed backs too
I guess it is due to our busy and hectic lives
we read many poems without giving any feed back
This hasn't been a problem for me but I've seen
poets almost begging for some kind of feed back
I guess almost any type of comment would suffice
they just want to know what others here do think
We all were new here at one time or another too
so take just a moment and leave them a feed back
It just could be that little push of confidence
that any new poet needs to keep on writing poems

I try to always give new poets some encouragement
with an honest assessment of their poems and have
even offered them a suggestion or two about some
things they hadn't thought about, such as using a
dark background and black lettering for their poems
makes them even harder to read than if they had used
white lettering with that dark background and it was
something very simple but they said it was helpful.
